Paddle Board Yoga

Fitness has always been a part of my life. As an athlete, I never had to think of working out (at least during season)- everything was prepared for me and I was playing 6-7 days a week.


Now as an adult, I enjoy living room workouts on Youtube, going for a hike, Crossfit, Yoga, kayaking and other activities to help get me moving. For the first time, I participated in a yoga class on a paddle board and loved it!



Being outdoors and on the water challenged my balance and stability in a new way that was fun and rejuvenating. Focusing on the sounds and smells surrounding us, feeling the warmth of the sun, and connecting with nature helped me relax and almost fall asleep during savasana at the end.


For those of you looking to try something new, I absolutely recommend you try a class like this. Fitness doesn't have to feel like a chore, you can find fun ways to incorporate movement into your day. If you need help on finding an activity that works best for you, do not hesitate to reach out.
